Call tracking from ClickBeagle · early access
Call tracking that shows which ad, keyword and page made the phone ring.
Call tracking from CallBeagle puts tracking numbers on your website, forwards calls to your phone and, when the visit can be identified, matches each call to the visit, campaign and keyword that brought the caller. Built for local service businesses and the agencies that run their ads.

How it works
Four steps from a click on your ad to a conversion your ad platform can learn from.
Tracking numbers on your site
The ClickBeagle script swaps the phone number on your pages for a tracking number, so each visitor or traffic source sees its own.
Calls ring your phone
Every call is forwarded to the number you choose, with an optional whisper that tells you where the call came from. Missed calls can go to voicemail.
Each call tied to the visit
See the source, campaign, keyword (when your ad platform passes it) and landing page behind each tracked call, plus the pages the caller viewed first.
Conversions go back to your ads
Calls you mark as good leads are sent to Meta Conversions API and GA4, once per destination. Google Ads call conversions are planned; the click ID is kept whenever the visit has one.
What you get
Everything below is in the product today. Items marked “Requires setup” need extra configuration before they work.
Visitor-level and source-level numbers
A website pool gives each visitor their own number, so a call is matched to the exact visit, ad click and keyword. Source numbers cover one channel, such as Google Business Profile; offline numbers cover flyers, trucks and yard signs.
A call log that shows the source
Each tracked call with its tracking number and source, plus campaign, keyword and landing page where available. Filter, save views, export CSV, and set lead status and value, one call or many at once.
Recording, off by default
Turn recording on per site or per number. When it is on, callers hear a disclosure before recording starts. Recordings are encrypted and only people with contacts access can play them.
Transcripts and AI lead tagsRequires setup
A transcript, a short summary and a tag for each recorded call: lead, not a lead, spam or existing customer. Not live until AI keys are configured.
Inbound texts as contacts
Texts sent to a tracking number appear in the call log with their source. Receive only: you reply from your own phone.
Missed-call reports
Answered rate, first-time callers and missed calls by day and hour, broken down by source, campaign, keyword, landing page and tracking number.
Meta CAPI and GA4 delivery
Once you connect Meta Conversions API or GA4, good-lead calls are sent server-side like form leads, at most once per destination.
Webhooks
A call.created event for every finished call, so your CRM or automation tools get the call with its source.
Agency accounts and roles
One account for many client sites, with owner, admin, analyst and call-only roles, and per-site access for each user.
Ask your AI assistant
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant to the ClickBeagle MCP server and ask about your calls in plain words. Read-only; caller numbers stay masked.
Works with ClickBeagle
CallBeagle lives inside ClickBeagle, so calls sit next to everything else your website brings in.
Same login, same script
Sign in with your ClickBeagle account. The script you already installed swaps the numbers; there is nothing else to add.
Every contact in one place
Calls appear next to form leads, WhatsApp and other messenger taps, and email clicks, each with the source that brought it.
Replay the visit before the call
When the visitor agreed to session recording, watch what they did on your site before they picked up the phone.
Questions
Is call recording legal in my state?
Recording is off by default. In two-party (all-party) consent states, including California, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Washington, everyone on the call must consent. When you turn recording on, every caller hears a short disclosure before recording starts. You remain responsible for your own compliance, so check with your attorney if you are unsure.
Which phone numbers can I get?
US local numbers only, for now. Toll-free and numbers outside the US are not available yet.
Can I port my existing number?
Not yet. Keep your current number: tracking numbers forward calls to it, and your real number stays on your site wherever the script doesn't swap it.
Can I send text messages?
Not yet. Tracking numbers receive texts, and each text shows up as a contact in your call log. Reply from your own phone.
Do transcripts and AI lead tags work right away?
They require setup. Transcripts, call summaries and AI lead tags turn on once speech-to-text and AI keys are configured. Until then, calls are qualified by a simple rule you set, such as answered and longer than 60 seconds.
Do I need a ClickBeagle account?
CallBeagle is the call-tracking part of ClickBeagle. You sign in with the same account, and the same ClickBeagle script on your site swaps the numbers.
